The Last 10 Days of the Month
Everyone knows how to recycle, right?
www.google.com/recycle+earth+picture
Recycling is so easy and so many people don't do it even thought all it is , is picking up a plastic bottle or something and putting it the almighty blue bin!
It's as easy as that! So the next time you see some sort of recyclable on its way to the garbage can stop it and toss it were it belongs! IN THE RECYCLE BIN!!!

Reusing
Most people might think that reusing is disgusting and you can't help. Reusing is great just think if you don't fit in a tee-shirt or a pair of jeans anymore donate them to your local charity and someone else can reuse them! Even if you just handed them down to you younger sis or bro. And if there still good looking after that then pass em' on again..... Reusing is so easy and it could help out someone else!

How to Reduce your...
Tips on how to conserve your:
Water:
- Get low-flow shower heads and faucets.
- Turn off the tap while you brush your teeth.
- Fix those leaks!
Electricity:
- Turn off the lights in any room if your leaving for more than 15 minutes
- Unplugg TVs, Toasters, computers, and basically any electrical appliance. If the red standby light is on, it's using electricity even if it's off. This wastes 40% of your electricity, and costs more than $3 Billion annually.
- Change your lightbulbs to florescent lightbulbs. If everyone did, we'd cut our electricity use for lighting in half!
Your trash:
- REfill your water bottle. Americans go through a whopping 2.5 million water bottles per hour, and most are not recycled. Also, plastic is harmfu for the water as it has bad chemicals in it.
- Bring your own mug to work! 2.5 million styrofoam cups are thrown out annually. The US makes almost 3 million tons of it, and most of it ends up in landfills.
- Bring your own reusable bag while shopping! the US throws away about 100 Billion plastic bags per year! Yikes!
-Wash clothes in warm or cold water, then hang them on a line. Save up for bigger loads of laundry, and by finding the most efficent model you can lay your eyes on, you can conserve 90% of the C02 created by your laundry! Wow!
-Don't paper waste! over 1/3 of waste is paper.
I hope these tips helped you be green!
